The Team approach of the Collaborative process will give
you the confidence of making legal, financial and co-parenting decisions. You will
have your own attorney giving you legal advice, a Financial neutral who advises
you both on your finances, and a Coach neutral who supports you with co-
parenting and parenting plan decisions in the best interest of minor children. The
Coach, as Facilitator of the Collaborative process, helps ensure positive
communication between everyone as well as managing emotions that can reduce
the ability to make those decisions wisely. Because decisions are made
thoughtfully, respectfully and calmly between the two of you, the final decree is
more enduring long term – unlike litigated or mediated divorce decisions.
